NBI Matrix Model of IIB Superstrings

Abstract

We investigate the NBI matrix model with the potential XA+1/X+(2eta+1)log X recently proposed to describe type IIB superstrings. In the proper normalization, using Virasoro constraints, we prove the equivalent of this model and the Kontsevich matrix model for eta eq 0 and find the explicit transition between these two models
