This workshop was the first in a series to be organized by MaPhySto.
The workshop brought
together researchers with varied backgrounds, with a common interest in inverse
problems relating
to stratified media. There were
series of lectures on both theory and applications.
In this leaflet we have gathered the (extended) abstracts of
the talks given and the posters presented.
Furthermore, at the end, the list of participants is reproduced.
