Centre for Mathematical Physics and Stochastics (MaPhySto) is financed by the Danish National Research Foundation. The Centre is set up to carry out research in selected topics in mathematical physics and stochastics (and, to some extent, in inverse problems and analytic number theory) at the highest international level. MaPhySto is located administratively in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Aarhus and shares facilities (library, computers, equipment etc.) with the Department. However, the group of Danish researchers that participate in MaPhySto as principal investigators come not only from the University of Aarhus but also from University of Copenhagen, Odense University and Aalborg University. MaPhySto organizes workshops, conferences, concentrated advanced courses, short and long term visits and has postdoc positions, at all four Universities.
The Scientific director of the centre is Ole E. Barndorff-Nielsen.
Below you find (almost) all of the above-mentioned plus the Centre
